The holidays are a time for family, celebration, and love. It is so important to take time during this season to appreciate all the blessings you have and practice gratitude on a daily basis. Sometimes we get caught up in our lives and we forget to live in the present moment. This is what leads to stress and anxiety, especially during this time of year when things are so busy and hectic.
Here are a few tips for practicing gratitude this holiday season:
- Set aside 5 minutes every morning to sit quietly and practice your breathing while you count each of your blessings.
- Next family or friends event you are at, take time to look around the room and feel gratitude for their presence in your life.
- Take a moment before every meal to feel gratitude for the food and nourishment you are about to consume.
