Position: Assistant Manager Operations

Reports to: General Manager / Store Manager

Position Summary:

Our Assistant Managers drive execution in the store by coaching and developing associates’ behaviors, which results in profitable, top line sales profitability and the ultimate Karma and Luck customer journey.

Our Assistant Manager creates an open-door climate where store associates feel comfortable sharing their views, while demonstrating effective outward and upward communication with upper leadership.

Our Assistant Manager ensures our customers have consistent quality experiences in our stores, while coaching and motivating our associates with in-the-moment feedback to achieve store performance goals and maintain a selling focus in the store.

Our Assistant Manager processes incoming shipment identifies and partners with the General Manager/Store Manager with inventory opportunities and maintain backroom ownership including packaging, damages, overstock, and overall stockroom cleanliness.

Our Assistant Manager partners with the General Manager/Store Manager to maintain store operations that includes training new hired store associates on our Point of Sale (POS), identifies store maintenance, follows up with on Customer Relations Media (CRM) opportunity, and maintain cleanliness throughout the store.


-Ensures all store leadership team and store associates maintains a clean, neat, and efficient cash wrap experience for Karma and Luck Guests.

-Creates a deliberate, achievable businesses mindset, leveraging company tools and initiatives to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual store key performance indicators.

-Communicates clear priorities and relevant information in a timely manner amongst the store population.

-Lead the store’s overall key performance indicators (KPI’s) success, understanding individual store’s performance, and adjust business accordingly.

-Promotes teamwork, creating desire, enthusiasm, and passion, to excel by empowering others to achieve the Karma and Luck journey.

-Highly engaged and eager to coach and develop direct reports, driving an inclusive bench succession planning and nine box execution of top talent leadership for the company.

-Promotes highly motivated behaviors that demonstrate emotionally engaged “in store” Karma and Luck customer experiences.

-Represents and reinforces the Karma and Luck brand in a positive manner through compelling visual presentations.

-Supports and leads new initiatives, demonstrates personal flexibility, and emulates our Karma and Luck values.
